About Us

The Dau Dayal School

Dau Dayal Educational Institutions began with a Bal Mandir, in the year 1962 by Shri S G Chandra, a renowned industrialist and philanthropist of Northern India to promote women’s education.  Bal Mandir grew into an Inter College (12th Standard) school where now  more than 1600 girls are educated in 2 shifts due to a shortage of classroom space. It is affiliated to UP Board.

Dau Dayal Girls Inter College Society, formed & registered under the  Societies Act 1860, is a non-profit making charitable organization, dedicated to the promotion of women’s education and upliftment.  It is registered under 80(G) & 12(A) as a non-profit making Educational Society.

Partnering with Edu-GIRLS has allowed Dau Dayal Girls School to bridge the inequity that exists in education between the government and the private sector schools. We are now able to deliver education that will transform the lives of our students.
